Fashion: a prevailing custom or style of dress, etiquette, socializing, etc.
I would like to focus on "prevailing" and "style of dress". NIKERA Clothing "prevails" over everything ordinary, spiritless and down right boring. Nikki's (CEO/Head Designer) "style of dress" puts you in remembrance of warm, sunny days and breezy evenings. Some of the dresses evoke that feeling you get when you walk into a candy store. Contemporary patterns, vibrant colors and authentic styles...yes, I would definitely say we have a winner here!!! I'll be honest with you, I was never really a fan of full skirts BUT after seeing this clothing line, I would definitely wear them. She has made a believer out of me and I'm sure you will feel the same.

Hello, Nikki! Where are you located?
East Coast (Virginia).
I'm curious, how did you come up with the name for your clothing line?
I love vintage eras! That's where my inspiration comes from so I decided to create my own remix of those eras, "NIKERA", which translates to Nikki's Era. Nikki is my childhood nickname.
Clever! So have you always wanted to be a designer?
Yes, since the age of 10. I would sketch designs for my parents' approval. Drawing has always been a natural talent. Fashion came years after.
Describe your clothing line in 3 words.
Classic. Trendy. Feminine.
Hmmm...I definitely agree with that! What is the inspiration behind your designs?
The CITRUS collection is inspired by the 1950's era. I love the A-Line dresses and the long full skirts of that time.
Are your clothes geared towards men or women?
Young women-mainly confident women who want to be sexy and beautiful but yet stand out in a crowd.
What are your future plans for the clothing line?
Right now we are launching our sister company, "SWIM80" in June 2009. It's a vintage inspired swimsuit boutique (online only). We are also looking to broaden our demographics in the years to come with store locations mainly in Japan and Hawaii.
Where can we find your clothes?
Starting in January 2010, NIKERA Clothing will be available in exclusive boutiques throughout the nation. Mainly East Coast and Los Angeles.

She's Vexed Boutique (VA), Dexter Cohen Photography (LA), K. Michele Tees (VA), Platinum Touch Photos (NC), Studio 76 Modeling Agency (VA) and future sponsor Ink Spot Shoes (GA).
Have you had the opportunity to be featured in magazines, television, etc?
We have blessed the runway in DC and we are currently booked for New York (Fashion on the Hudson) and Atlanta International Fashion Week for the month of July. Locally, we provide wardrobe for ad campaigns for jewelry designers, boutiques, makeup artists, hair stylists, etc. Currently we are working on press in nationwide publications.
